IMTS 2026 was a major week for TYKMA Electrox, bringing together new laser marking systems, automation demonstrations, software solutions, and conversations with manufacturers from across the industry.
Throughout the show, visitors to our booth were able to get a first look at several new and updated laser marking systems designed for applications ranging from compact benchtop marking to large-format production, automation, and mobile laser processing.
Four new systems made their IMTS debut, alongside an updated Zetalase XL platform and several live application demonstrations.
New Laser Marking Systems Debut at IMTS
A major focus of IMTS 2026 was the introduction of our latest laser marking system designs.
Zetalase™ CK
The Zetalase CK made its first appearance at IMTS as a new large-format laser marking workstation built for flexibility.
Its larger enclosure provides room for a wide range of components and fixtures, while passthrough openings allow long parts, extrusion, conveyors, and other production equipment to pass through the system.
This makes the Zetalase CK particularly well suited for manufacturers looking to integrate laser marking into automated production lines or process components that would be difficult to fit inside a traditional enclosed workstation.
Optimized for Cerakote Laser Imaging, the Zetalase CK comes out-of-the-box with laser settings ready to go, as well as support from both TYKMA Electrox and Cerakote®.
The platform can also be configured with multiple laser technologies, including fiber, MOPA, CO2, UV, and picosecond laser sources depending on the application.
Minilase™ Max
The new Minilase Max expands our compact system lineup with a larger standard work area and an updated enclosure design that matches the direction of our latest laser marking systems.
A 12″ x 12″ marking field is available through our MFSS configuration, giving manufacturers considerably more working area while maintaining a compact workstation footprint.
The Minilase Max is available with multiple fiber laser power options, including 30W and 60W configurations, depending on the application and processing requirements.
For manufacturers working with larger components, fixtures, or multi-part layouts, the Minilase Max provides additional flexibility without moving to a full-size industrial workstation.
Minilase™ LBL Gets an Update
The updated Minilase LBL brings new capabilities to one of our most compact laser marking platforms.

The system now comes standard with a 30W MOPA fiber laser, providing greater flexibility for marking, engraving, and material processing applications compared with the previous standard configuration.
External connections have also been relocated to the bottom of the system, helping simplify power, USB, and accessory cable routing in production environments.
Its compact footprint makes the Minilase LBL well suited for manufacturers that need an enclosed laser marking workstation without dedicating significant floor space. It’s also a great system for on-the-go events, providing customization for tumblers, promotional items, and more!
LaseNGo Handheld Mobile Laser Marking System
Another new addition to our lineup at IMTS was the LaseNGo, our handheld mobile MOPA laser marking system.
LaseNGo combines a mobile cart-based laser platform with a handheld scan head, allowing operators to bring the laser directly to components that may be difficult or impractical to load into a conventional workstation.
The handheld marking head incorporates a contact-based marking nozzle and monitoring system designed to maintain sealed surface contact during operation.
Status lighting and trigger-style controls give the operator direct control at the marking head while the mobile design provides greater flexibility for large components, assemblies, maintenance environments, and other applications where the part cannot easily be moved.
An Updated Zetalase™ XL Platform
Visitors also got a look at the latest version of the Zetalase XL.
The redesigned workstation features an updated cabinet design and larger side access doors, improving access to the working area while maintaining the large-format capabilities of the Zetalase platform.
At IMTS, the system was equipped with a 100W CO2 laser and incorporated into a live robotic automation demonstration.
Robotic Laser Marking Automation With In-Position Technologies
Automation was another major focus at the show.
Working with In-Position Technologies, we demonstrated a FANUC collaborative robot loading and unloading drinkware from the Zetalase XL.
During the demonstration, the cobot loaded a tumbler into the laser marking system, the automatic door closed, and the 100W CO2 laser removed the coating from the surface. Once marking was complete, the door reopened and the robot removed the finished component.
The demonstration highlighted how laser marking equipment can be integrated with robotics, automatic doors, fixtures, and production controls to create a repeatable automated manufacturing process.
The robotic workflow was controlled using TYKMA Electrox Automation Mode, which allows external equipment such as robots, PLCs, conveyors, and custom automation systems to communicate directly with the laser system. Automation Mode can control functions such as automatic doors, marking cycles, job selection, and system status while sending completion and error signals back to the automation controller. Learn more about Automation Mode and automated laser marking integration.
It also demonstrated an important advantage of galvo-driven CO2 laser technology.
Rather than mechanically moving the laser head across the component like a traditional gantry-style system, a galvo laser rapidly directs the beam using internal mirrors. For many marking and coating-removal applications, this allows processing to be completed in seconds rather than minutes.
Personalized Laser Marking for Retail and Events
Industrial manufacturing wasn’t the only application on display.
We also demonstrated our new Retail & Mobile Events Software Package, powered by the TYKMA Electrox software suite.
The software creates a simplified customer-facing workflow for personalized products.
Using a touchscreen kiosk, a customer can select a product, choose a graphic from a predefined catalog, add personalized information such as a name, and submit the design for laser marking.
The system is designed for applications such as retail storefronts, brand activations, sporting events, trade shows, corporate events, and other environments where businesses want to offer on-demand product personalization without requiring the customer or operator to use traditional laser software.
Stay tuned for a more detailed look at this software and its capabilities!
More Than New Equipment

IMTS is always about more than the equipment on the show floor.
Throughout the week, our team had the opportunity to meet with customers, manufacturing partners, integrators, and other industry professionals to discuss new applications, automation projects, laser technologies, and manufacturing challenges.
The response to our latest systems and demonstrations reinforced the growing demand for laser platforms that can adapt to different production environments—from compact standalone workstations to robotic automation and large-format processing.
We appreciate everyone who visited the TYKMA Electrox booth, spoke with our team, watched a demonstration, or helped make IMTS 2026 a successful show.
